Adults only area was poorly designed and not conducive to spending a lot of time there. This was our 11th Disney cruise and first on the Wish, and it will be our last. The ship's design is so awkward with smaller general areas and more crowding when people gather.

Using your spyglass, you'll see menu boards transform into messages from Princess Tiana, you'll find "hidden" constellations in the sky and perhaps even bring the glass slipper to life in the Grand Hall. This game continues the Disney tradition of using technology to unlock new ways to tell stories. The technology may be complex, but what shines front and center is the story and the magic it creates.

Disney Wish Deck Plan Does Away with Separate 'Zones' For Kids, Adults
There are no cheap Disney Cruises but there are disney cruise deals available throughout the year such as Florida Resident deals, savings off selection sailings, Canadian resident deals and Special US Military rates. The first four Disney cruise ships revolutionized dinner at sea by introducing a trio of themed restaurants where you — and the serving crew and other guests — rotate together throughout the nights of your cruise. How to Book Disney Cruise Line Summer Sailings 2023
In a recent announcement, the CDC said cruise companies can restart operations only by following rules laid out by the agency. Disney cruises can often cost two or three times the price of a Royal Caribbean or Carnival cruise. This first option seems obvious, but you’ll want to specifically search for discounted sailings. Although Disney doesn’t always offer sales, if they are available, you'll find them on the Disney cruise line page — just click “Show special offer filters” when searching. You can book directly with Disney Cruise Line or via a travel agent and potentially get goodies like an onboard sailing credit. TPG also has a Disney booking partner in Mouse Counselors, should you want assistance with booking your cruise.

Passengers embark into a swooping atrium space known as The Grand Hall -- a space created by removing the midship bank of elevators found on past Disney ships. Gone, too, is the art deco and art nouveau design of past ships, replaced with a crisper, cleaner and, dare we say, more imaginative take on decor. Booking with the cruise company guarantees your return to the ship, even if your excursion runs late. If you're looking for a unique excursion that still gives you the highlights of a European city, I recommend booking a food tour. I've done tours in places like Amsterdam, Budapest, and Paris, and I've never been disappointed. Arriving at your embarkation port early is key to having a smooth sailing.
Disney Cruise Line Ship Schedules
The elevator situation was horrendous with only fore and aft elevators and only 2 elevators which went all the way up to Decks 12&13. Too many stairs for my mobility impaired husband and the only option was to take elevators. Can't walk from the front of the ship to the back as each deck dead-ends with no staircases in site to be able to navigate around. Restaurants are CROWDED with lots of tables smashed against each other and we declined dinner one night in 1923 as my husband refused to "scooch" around chairs and people while trying to walk with his cane. Arendelle restaurant was just OK, because we really don't prefer a dinner show.

Disney Wish Itineraries Cruises
If you’ve caught yourself researching Disney cruises lately, we don’t blame you — with waterslides galore and a reputation for luxury, Disney cruises can be a lot of fun. But they can also be pricey, and those costs can add up if you’re sailing with multiple people. The Disney Magic from January to the Middle of February will sail from Galveston Texas. From Late February to the Middle of April it will sail from New Orleans offering 4- to 7-night Western Caribbean itinerary. From the beginning of May it will sail from San Juan offering 7- and 8-night Southern Caribbean Cruises. Late May through September sails from Miami offering 3- to 7-night Caribbean and Bahamian Cruises, with three Double Dips, then through the Panama Canal to San Diego.
Additionally, the ship offers "Disney's Aladdin – A Musical Spectacular" on one night of every cruise. This show is a reimagined adaptation of the classic film, depicting it as a fast-paced musical comedy. Connecting both of these luxe dining options is The Rose, a lounge that offers wine, small bites and other adult-focused items designed for pre- or post-dinner enjoyment. For any cruises listed, Cruise Critic does not guarantee any specific rates or prices. Celebrating 25 years of family cruise vacations like only Disney can offer. New culinary creations with silver anniversay desserts and cocktails.

There are option paid activies you can do which include private cabanas, parasailing, rental snorkel gear or bicycles and a stingray adventure. Disney Cruises 2024 will continue to offer some exciting theme cruises for Marvel & Star Wars. The Star Wars-themed cruises will offer meet & greets, unique food & beverages, Star Wars merchandise, and at-sea screenings of Star Wars films.
While there are not any villains or live entertainment here, the more laid-back setting is much appreciated, especially if you're seeking a similar dining pace and styling to what's available on the first four Disney ships. Disney says this restaurant features the best of the golden age of Hollywood, with the style of the furniture inspired by what was actually in Walt's office. The menu pays tribute to the company's Californian roots, and the dining room has a more intimate feel thanks to being divided into two equal parts that mirror each other. You'll enter the lounge via a room that is dark and serves as a "palate cleanser" from the rest of the ship. Then, once inside, everything from the custom furniture to the liquor bottles and specialty cocktails to the tap handles for the beer is themed accordingly. To keep things as comfortable and immersive as possible, the direction you fly on the screens is indeed the same direction the cruise ship is heading, giving the experience an even more realistic feel.
Disney Wish further honors Walt with Marceline, the ship's casual buffet offering. Named after the childhood hometown of Walt Disney (Marceline, Missouri), the eatery offers breakfast, lunch and dinner daily, along with complimentary fountain soft drinks -- a rarity among cruise ships. The cost of a Disney cruise can vary dramatically based on your needs and sailing preferences. However, you should expect to spend at least $1,000 on a cruise for two passengers.
A 4-night Bahamian cruise on September 4, 2023 on the Disney Wish. Families, as you might expect, make up the bulk of passengers aboard Disney Wish. But the ship also caters every bit as well to couples without children who are looking for a premium cruise with all the big-ship bells and whistles. There are 1,254 individual cabins aboard Disney Wish, most of which offer private balconies. Only 121 staterooms are insides, while 185 are oceanview staterooms with picture windows. Kids still have a dedicated zone, this time on Deck 2 below the atrium.
